The Lake Lure Inn opened in 1927 on the shoreline of Lake Lure, NC. For nearly a century it has been the primary gathering place for the area — and since 1987, it's been best known as the location where Dirty Dancing was filmed.
The inn is now managed by Ridgeline Hotels under the name "Lake Lure Inn & Spa." The spa is temporarily closed, but the hotel and event spaces remain open for weddings and events.
